May the peace, blessings, and mercy of god be upon you. My name is Khalil. Until January 2025, I had been displaced with my 13 family members for the past year and 3 months. We have traveled back to our homes due to the ceasefire agreement, but we have all come back to nothing. Our home is destroyed and is no longer habitable. Our lives are gone. There is nothing left. I said there was 13 of my family…now there is 12 . We are filled with sadness and have lost so much hope that this war will end.
It is now March and the borders of Rafah have closed, no longer bringing in aid. The prices of basic necessities have increased making our survival much harder and feeling impossible. I am one of the caretakers of my family yet we still suffer
But you can be our hope for survival…
Khalil’s Destroyed Home (Northern Gaza) ^
– a tent big enough to shelter multiple family members – buying fresh food to feed my family of 12 – warm clothes and blankets to make it through cold days and nights – funds for obtaining medical supplies + medicine
The price of tents sold in the markets here ranges from $500 to $1000. Due to the start of the war and the closure of the borders again, the prices have increased even more. With your help, you can keep our family together.
We do not how much longer this war will continue so for now, our goal is to receive $5,000 to purchase our necessities from organizations and markets here in Gaza. We are happy to receive even just $1. Or $1 from each of 1,000 people
